writting down my birth story while i have the chance, on the 3rd of august my lo gabrielle woke up for a bottle at 1.30 am i gave her a bottle and went the toilet felt normal and dissapointed thinking another night no sign of labour. layed back down felt tightening and his head pushing down but painless thought it was just him moving at first then relised that it could be the start of somthing stayed in bed sleeping they didnt hurt at all so i continued sleeping aT 2.30 AM They felt uncomfiortable and hurt a little told oh i was having contractions he jumped up then told him i was going to try sleep bc they were iregular and infrequent more so pre labour was to uncomfortable to sleep got up at 3 am made sure my bags were packed and that gabrielle had things to take with her while she got babysat but knew i had ages continued through the day playing with lo surfing bnb watching a movie the contractions were all over the place some 30 mins apart some 5 mins not lasting long and not unbearable they were getting stronger by the afternoon so went to the shop to get dinner lol and had a big one was standing in line trying to act normal lol went home had dinner they were now lasting slightly longer then at 6.30 pm they regualted a bit and we had to rush out the door at 7.15 bc in half and hour they had intensified big time and i knew i wouldnt be able to travel in the car easily got to the hospital at 8.45 they checked my bp and his heart rate all was fine the contractions were still bearable not to bad at all then they started intensifying and getting closer and closer together so my midwife gave me a ve i was 4 cm diallated the waters bugling this was at 10.30 pm so she fillled up the birth pool after that they were getting stronger by the contraction and close together jumped in the bath was starting to really feel then but i was having a conversation in beetween contractions felt like pushing at 11 pm but didnt belive the midwifes or my birth partners that he was coming now bc it had only been half an hour since 4 cm so i got really cofused to why i felt all this pressure and had huge urge to push still didnt belive the midwife that he was coming then until his head crowned and he slid out in to the water at 11.20 i was pretty together through most of the labor until i was ready to push bc the hormons hit me so fast i felt so strange and drowsy and kept crying and sayin alll i wanna do is go to bed and thinking i have done this before what on earth possesed my to do it again then when they placed him on my belly i remembered he was alot bigger then gabrielle 4 cms longer than her he was 53 cms long his head was much bigger to and her weighed 8 ound 3 ouncs gabbrielle was only 6 pound 8 ounces so that exsplaind why 2nd stage was harder he is doing great we were home the next day he is the most easy content baby just cant wait for these nasty after pains to stop
