So I will admit that I'm very partial to my glass of fizz with christmas lunch but this year I'm expecting #2 and so is my sister. So I was just wondering what ideas people have for something to drink that still feels special. Most of the ideas I can find online seem really sweet and fruity and that's not really my thing with food.

When I'm feeling particularly fancy, I'll pour coke zero into a wine glass, or sparkling fruit water. I don't drink at all, OH only drinks beer, if i buy it, which is at his birthday, kids birthday, or christmas.someone gave us wine and champagne glasses as a house warming present many years ago. Figured I'd may as well use them.

I like elderflower presse, it's not too sweet (or at least it isn't to me, but then I'm a bit of a sugar addict so maybe it is super sweet to other people and I don't realise!) and it is very refreshing. Otherwise something like cordial (cucumber or elderflower are nice) with tonic, for a faux gin and tonic feel?

Asda do a no-alcohol muscat wine which I had when I was pregnant - I thought it was very nice! But quite sweet, so possibly not your thing. Kopparberg do an alcohol free cider which tastes more like an 'adult' fizzy drink.

All the drinks I can think of are quite sweet but the shloer celebration fizz feels special :)

I have had elderflower before which is quite nice.
I usually just have coke, lemonade or a J2O.

I usually have either Shloer, elderflower, coke or J2O. I don't really drink ever.

We aren't drinkers really, though I do like a glass of wine at Christmas with my dad. We usually get j20, belvoir or shloer.

Marks have some lovely "mulled warmers" Christmas flavoured juices you can pop in the microwave. Sholer is very Christmassy to me :)
