Non folding music stand vs Folding - does it get put away?

DH would like a music stand. He occasionally plays his instrument.

I'm left to decide between a cheap folding one (that will drive me nuts if left out when not in use) or a nice wooden one.

What would you go for?

Which folding one?

I had a folding metal one as a child when I played flute and found that good enough. If you have the room a wooden one may look nicer but it depends on space.
