I want to freeze my expressed milk, but I am trying to go down the route of not using plastic containers. Is there a storage solution for frozen breast milk that isn't plastic? I am guessing you can't freeze glass? I suppose a phthalate-free plastic container would be acceptable if necessary. Also, ideally the containers will be reusable, as we are trying to bring up our baby as low impact as possible. Any thoughts appreciated.

I dont think you can freeze glass....
The only solution i can think of is just buy some plastic containers and just pass them on when youre done with them

I don't know of anything like you are describing. :( Sorry. These aren't reuasable but are BPA free and the best thing I have found so far. I really like them (minus the fact that I have to throw them out)

I don't really like the thought of using plastic either especially if what is in it is warm at all so I pump into a glass bottle and then let it cool down in the fridge until it is really cold and then freeze it in the freezer bags. It doesn't eliminate plastic completely but at least I know cold plastic doesn't leach as much as warm plastic does.
