Nooo - OHs dad put my wool covers in the washing machine!

At ninety degrees. Followed by a good, old tumble drying.

I'm forever hiding clothes from him because he always shoves whatever he finds in the washing machine without checking the label. They were soaking in a lanolin solution in the sink, and I guess he thought I was soaking off the poo or something.

Needless to say, they are destroyed....shrunk to about a third of their size. Two of them were brand new and I got them that morning...thought I was going to cry. One seems to have survived, but all the fresh lanolin has been stripped off and I'm struggling to re-waterproof it. Still getting leaks after a two hour lanolin soak.

Waaaa. Just wanted a moan

Oh npooooooo. I understand I put some of my wool covers in the wash by accident. Two survived and the brand new one is shrunk too much. It's so frustrating when someone else does it AND when they were just trying to be helpful. D'oh.
