Hi
I know that my flow has always been heavy, except when I have been on hormonal BC, because I've always needed to change the biggest available tampons really often.
I recently started using the mooncup again, and it's overflowed 3 times today (well once last night/early this morning and twice today)... It wasn't in wrong or anything it was actually FULL!
I'm sure losing that much blood can't be healthy I just googled and apparently the mooncup's capacity is 1 fl oz... and the average loss during an entire period is 3 fl oz, so I've lost at least that much in the first 2 days of AF. More including when I changed it before it overflowed. I usually bleed for 6 days altogether, so that's going to be a lot more by the end!
Does anyone else have heavy AF, and does it affect you at all? I don't get PMT as such but I feel really tired and now actually seeing the amount of blood I'm not surprised
I do eat pretty healthily so not sure what else to do about replenishing the losses.
ANyway thanks for reading....
