Not as strong as I thought I was

Someone in work's wife had a baby and as the only woman it was up to me to get the present.I decided to kill two birds with one stone and get my friends LO their Christening present. I was doing OK until I seen a weeny pair of wellies. I don't know why but that really upset me. I honestly thought I could cope but I think I'll stick to online shopping next time.

Sorry to hear that LoveCakes. I think for some reason certain things on certain days affect us more, and it's always hard when it catches you off guard. I felt like that all of last week and really struggled but this week I have been fine.... it's so hard because you can't control it. Sending hugs and hoping things get better

Thanks, I had a wee cry when I got home but at least that's all the presents bought I know about. Deep breath and move on. I'm glad you are feeling better this week.
