NOT Impressed !!

Hey . went to the doctors yesterday about my rash on my feet and hands and legs !!! . the doctor NIVER checked it out ! she only like glanced at it and said oh its athlets foot !!! or my eczema !!! . gave me a cream . ! the cream doesent even stop the itching ! im not happy about this at all . i feeel like choping my feet off . the itching is unbeleivable .
sorry about the moaning but she could atleast took me more seriously !

I'm sorry you're doctor isn't very helpful. I would definitely go and get a 2nd opinion. Especially since you mentioned that you were bleeding from scratching so much. Go get it checked hon

If its not helping then you should call back and let them know. Maybe she will have you come back in and have a closer look...? Or if you continue to have problems with your doc maybe you should look for another one. It would drive me crazy if my doc didnt listen to me, her listening and answering questions is the only thing that keeps me sane!

I definatly think you should go see another doctor for a second opinion. Give it a day or 2 to give the cream a chance but then if no better go back

Use the cream see if it helps, but in all fairness as far as your rash is concerned a Doctor would know or have a good idea wjat it was just from looking at it, it would not need an in depth examination. If it does persist then make another appoinment and ask to see a different Doctor.

Some Doctor's are just a bit rubbish with their bedside manner.....but you should also have asked questions if you was not happy with the way s/he treated you and asked why it s/he considered it to be Atheletes foot. x

I can kinda relate to how you feel because when I was pregnant with #2, my legs itched horribly as well, scratched a lot and ended up with bruises, the itch even woke me up from sleep. not only my legs were itching, my back too...

my sis in-law told me, " oh, you must be expecting a boy! with all those bruises from scratching!" according to her philosophy, it was the male hormones causing it...haha, and indeed, I found out later, coincidentally, that I was expecting a boy...
anyway,this is not a proven fact, just wanted to share with you, perhaps its really due to some hormonal changes that your body is going though...

I hope you feel better soon and like all the older ladies mentioned, do get a second opinion from your caregiver if neccessary...because preggies do need a lot of reassurance!!! I hope the link below helps, in case you haven't read it before...
