Not sure what this means

I'm 36 weeks and 4 days today and my doctors told me my baby hasn't grown in two weeks and I'm losing weight. They're sending me for my fourth ultrasound tuesday (my placenta was low before so I've had a few ultrasounds already). Everything looked fine with her at all her others scans and appointments up until now. Should I be worried about this? My doctor ignored my questions when I asked so I'm not sure what to think.

I don't want to read and run. Don't know what it means myself but I have been watched carefully since my first U/S at 20 weeks-baby is measuring small in some parts.
I would be aggressive with the doc and NOT accept ignored answers! That is not right. I am now 32 weeks and am told that they may want to deliver me at 37 weeks because if the baby is not getting all the nutrients it needs or the placenta is not working well, it can pose a risk to baby. Hopefully at the U/S they'll be able to answer your questions and calm your fears, and decide what is best for you and your baby.
You're almost at 37 weeks, so I'm sure they'll choose a course of action that will safely bring your baby into the world In the meantime, try and rest and relax (I know-easier said than done!)

How do they know the baby hasn't grown, is it that your fundal height hasn't changed or the baby's measurements on u/s hasen't changed in 2 weeks? If your fundal height hasn't changed that isn't super concerning. Your baby has probably just dropped (is this your first? first babies drop a few weeks before delivery). Fundal height measurements are also not an exact science, it especially loses it`s accuracy t/w the end when baby's position can throw it off. It is good that your doctor is sending you for an u/s to check.

If they are telling you your baby hasn't grown based on u/s measurement, that is a bit more concerning. If that is the case they will probably discuss an early delivery but since you are near term your baby should be just fine
