Ok, baby nathanial is now 36 weeks. 4 weeks ago at scan his tummy was 2 weeks ahead of his head and both were ahead of dates. 2 weeks ago the measurements had evened out and he was measuring 2 weeks ahead of dates. Consultant looked at todays scan results and didn't say anything much just commented that his body growth hadn't been as consistent as head size. Tummy is now smaller than 2 weeks ago and head has grown along the same line as previously so still 2 weeks ahead.
I wasn't worried as all babies are different and, lets face it, scans are not necessarily 100% accurate but when he said to go to daycare for monitoring (was there today for CTG) on saturday as well as going in to his monday clinic for assessment before induction/c-section on thursday I didn't think about it too much. Now I'm worried!
Reluctant to google as although I've worked as a research nurse when it comes to stuff to do with ME I'm not nearly so discerning about evidence! Was just wondering if anyone has heard of this being a problem or if it's just one of those things???:shrug:
Thanks guys!:hugs:
xx

I am sure if it was a worry the consultant would have acted on it straight away.

I personally don't know I'm afraid - hope all is well :hugs:

Ollie's measurements were always inconsistent. His head measured big then small then normal and his tum at one stage was four weeks ahead and was always two weeks ahead. At one stage ALL measurements were at 99th percentile at approx 32 weeks
. They didnt bat an eyelid and he was perfectly normal on birth x
