Hi all, I hope everyone on here is doing well. I saw Indigo77 had some good news! Wishing the best and a wonderful 9 months!

Well, here's my dilemma. I'm getting stressed out now. I'm on day 67. I started temping to practice for the new cycle on October 1, and after completely missing September the new cycle "should" have been due around October 12. That didn't come either. Now I've been spotting for the last 5 days. Sometimes the spotting is red but I really don't even need a panty liner.

I do spot first most months, and never count that as CD1, but it's usually only for a day or two.

I am getting worried about how to evaluate this because I was going to start using OPKs this month. But is this my period or not? Should I start using the OPKs on day 8 anyway? Should I start a new chart? Should I jump off the house? ](*,)

Can you show us your chart?

And jumping off of the house is a little drastic at this point, lol.

Thank you. J/k about the house. I just CANNOT believe that my cycle went crazy right when I needed it to be normal.

Here's my chart- it's useless, because I just started temping on CD 42 so I could get used to doing it. I did go back and fill in some other info from my date book when I joined FF, but not all.

And I'm worried about my thermometer because it seems to like 97.73 and 97.58 a lot. :nope: (But I guess that's another problem!)

My Ovulation Chart

I think it might be time to talk to your doctor.

My thermometer has 2 numbers it likes as well, lol.

It looks like you didn't ovulate. I would make an appointment with your doc and maybe she can get you straightened out. I hope she resolves it quickly for you. :flower:

Jumping off the house is drastic, but maybe a temper tantrum would help? I'm gearing up for one. If it works, let me know! :haha:

Dachsundmom, isn't that a pathetic chart? It looks like the Alps. Does this mean my hormones are really fluctuating?

I went to my dr, yesterday and he was unimpressed with my problem. I am going to see a different gynecologist next week. I feel like he's just not listening. I mean, maybe there's just nothing to be done about it. But I think I'll get a second opinion.

Readyformore, I hope I can get straightened out. Thank you. The time factor is really weighing heavily on my heart. My cousin-in-law is a doctor and she thinks we should go straight to IVF. My husband wants to take this route. But wouldn't I need to get straightened out about this first anyway?

I'll let you know about the temper tantrum. I'll look around the house and see if there's anything I don't mind breaking!

What did your doc advise? I am more concerned about the cycle length vs. anything else...

I never got around to having a tantrum today. I did however, load up one garbage bag full of junk from my house, and pitched it. It felt great.

I would say this is equally therapeutic. :winkwink:

He was just unconcerned, told me to see a specialist. I asked him about something to make it start, and he said no. Then I asked him, if I was having trouble ovulating, what did he think about Clomid. And he said he would never prescribe this because of the risk of ovarian cysts.

Can you tell me why you are concerned? What could it mean?

All my blood tests are fine. My FSH etc. was great. My thyroid is fine. My ultrasound was fine. My pap smear was negative. I would think a regular ob/gyn could handle this.

I already did this! It does feel great! I have to change out our summer/winter clothes but I hate doing this so it won't help much.

I think I'll go buy some yarn tomorrow. :happydance:

Sorry, I don't mean concerned as in there is a problem...I was curious why your doctor didn't just rule out pregnancy and induce your cycle....

Well, I had blood tests on Oct. 3 and Oct. 5 and they were negative. I don't know why he didn't induce it, either. I asked and he said no. I'll get a second opinion next week.
