Just wondering where you buy yours from? Any recommendations?

I haven't got any nursing bras or tops because I didn't want to waste the money if BF wasn't going to be successful but as it is and looks to be remaining successful then I'll need to invest in some comfy nursing bras and tops. All I've bought so far is an apron type garment that I can drape over me and baby whilst bf out in public. I've browsed the I'net but haven't come across any shops that sell nursing clothing and those that do haven't appealed to me.

Any suggestions of where to look would be great

i have a couple of nursing tops from mamaway https://www.mamaway.co.uk/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=4&zenid=00cce8ad402e9ac4cec2d61c981474a3 . my bras are from hot milk (bought via figleaves) and panache (bought via bravissimo). agree it's hard to find nice bfing tops. i got some other good ones from old navy in the states but that's not helpful to you sorry!

Mothercare do some lovely modern nursing bras. My favourite are the bright pink and the white with pink spots :) My friend also has some nursing vest tops from there which have a hidden panel that you pull back to expose the nipple only so are mega discrete.

I just bought ( well sent my hubby to buy as I had my LO 6 weeks early!) one bra from mothercare and one from babys r us and then have just been using normal strappy tops and pulling them down. Once I am out of the hosp tho, if I can still BF I will go grab a couple of tops, I know mothercare did loads when I looked last time. But strappy tops and a zippy top or cardigan work a treat too.

got a couple of bras from la senza and some from mothercare. have nursing vests from mothercare and some tops from when i was bf my DD from jojomamanbebe.

I got my nursing bras from marks&spencer and mothercare.

I don't have any nursing tops but when I know I'll be feeding when I'm out I'll wear one of my old bump bands under my top so my tummy isn't out for everyone to see. Although is it strange I feel more concerned about my tummy than my boobs being out :haha:

That's why I wear nursing tops! One side of my tummy is still covered in purple stretch marks which show no signs of fading anytime soon. To the OP: some people put a vest top on under their normal top to create their own nursing top type effect (lift up the normal top and pull the vest top under the boob so still covers the tummy), probably shows a bit more than a specific nursing top but does the job good enough without having to spend so much.

I really didnt like the mothercare bras, they have nice designs but I find them really unsupportive!

I love the carriwell bras, sooo comfy and great for night time. For nice bras hot milk are good, although expensive I think but they have lasted really well!

For tops, I quite often just use a top you can pull down a bit at the front, but I love my jojo maman bebe tops! Mothercare have some nice stuff, but it also is maternity, so if your planning on feeding long term I wouldnt recommend it, just because its pretty disheartening having to wear a maternity top still! Although that was a while ago I looked, might be different now. Also the NCT website quite often have some nice things cheaply.

hope that helps!

I love the bra's from peacocks only about £5 and very pretty.
As for tops i have been living in cheap primark vests that i can pull down, i feel far more comfortable in something i can pull down as opposed to havinh to lift up my top and bare my belly!!

I didn't buy nursing tops but instead I wear two tops and pull one up the the other down. It works great for me and I keep as much covered as possible.

I don't have nursing tops, I just make sure what ever I wear I can get my boobs out easily :haha:

For Bras . . . . I have a few from Hotmilk but I found they didn't wash great and I sooooo dont have time to be hand washing undies! I have a couple from M&S which are great, and some from mothercare - the best ones from there are the slightly padded ones. Really comfy, wash fab, nice designs, make my boobs look good lol! They are probably my fave.

I've only got 2 nursing bras because I still wear my maternity bras (just pop my boob over the top)
I don't have any nursing tops. I just went shopping (I had to because my boobs have made me go up 2 top sizes :() and made sure they were BF friendly before I bought them...I was in the changing room for ages seeing if I could whip them up or down easily!! lol!! I also went to new look and stocked up on their £3 vest tops so if I'm wearing a top I have to pull up I'll just ware a vest top under it and pop my boob over the top.....people don't even realise your feeding when you do this so you can even feed without a wrap or cover :)
