Nut Allergy - PTA querie

Hi everybody,

I'm a member in my son's school PTA and we got huge issues providing a nutfree snack for the kids at events...obv fruit is an option but its quite hard to find fruit that every child likes.

So does anybody know any brands/products who are defo nut-free, any help would be appreaciated!

I came across several lists on Pinterest. The last three years my son has been in a classroom with a couple of children with tree nut allergies. Since we have to provide our own children's snacks it fell on the parents to come up with safe choices.

It was tough because even things like rice cakes can be manufactured in plants where they can be exposed to nut dusts. You really have to read labels closely!

I'd stick with mainly fruit and veg because there's no way to find processed snacks that all kids are going to like too but if you need to keep a stock at school there are lots of boxed choices in the last two links. Just really make sure you check every label until you get familiar with which ones are in the clear
