It's scary to think how quickly time has flown by since my 20 week scan. Now to face all the joy of 3rd tri, including hopefully the last GTT (all of tomorrow morning), my anti-d injection and whooping cough jab.

Good luck everyone and hope to see you all there eventually :flower:

Congratulations! Quite a few of us are almost there too! ;)

Wait, when are we supposed to go over? I thought I had another week before I was in third tri lol, but maybe I'm just losing it.

Also, congratulations!!! :D

Technically it's at 27 weeks. exciting to be almost there. :)
The other part of me is worried that I have procrastinated too much though! Running around trying to get things done

Really it's up to interpretation, I go by 13 weeks for each trimester, as it doesn't work out to 14 weeks. So really it's between 26-27 weeks :)

Ugh I know how you feel. We aren't even moved into our new apartment yet! We're moving Feb. 5th and I want to have everything unpacked and ready by the time we have the baby shower at the end of February. That way we can just set his room up and whatnot without having to worry about still unpacking. I'm sure that won't be a problem though because I'm already starting to have spurts of nesting lol.

On the plus side, we've registered for prenatal classes and breastfeeding classes, hired some movers for the 5th (since I'll be almost 30 weeks and everyone else we know will be working), and started the process of setting up daycare for when I go back to work. So there are some things we've crossed off the list :D

Yikes! Good luck with the move. We moved house literally just before I got pregnant, and we're still in a mess and currently in DS's room. Need to have our bedroom sorted in the next couple of weeks, and get on with decorating his room if we ever stand a chance of him getting used to being on his own.

Thanks! It's a bit stressful, but everything should work out. We have a cat and a dog, so we wanted to have a bit of time to have them acclimate before we add the tiny human, so I think two and a half months will be okay. And we'll be setting his room up at the beginning of March, so they'll be around that for a little bit before he's born. Everything is just a little stressful at this point...I feel like we've done nothing even though we've done a lot. I just keep reminding myself that we still have a bit of time before he's born and everything will come together.

Oh man! Good luck with your move! Try to take it one day at a time :)
My son's birthday and party is in February and then my friends are throwing a shower in March. I feel like I'm flying by the seat of my pants  One day I'm painting and the next I'm sewing. Plus all of Tyler's activities in between.

Thanks! We hired movers, so it should be a relatively easy day. All our stuff will already be packed in boxes for them, so all they need to do is load the boxes and the furniture on the truck, and then unload them in the new apartment. And since the move is happening on a Friday, I'll have the weekend to unpack, so we won't be rushed at all.

And goodness, I know! There are so many things happening that I'm running out tonight to grab a personal planner to keep in my purse, and I don't even have another child to look after! Between doctor's appointments, birth classes, breastfeeding classes, newborn care classes and an extra infant CPR class that we're taking, I can't keep it all straight! And this is only the beginning haha.

That's so nice! That should definitely make it a lot easier :)

That's a ton of classes! I am sure that they will come in handy though. Last time we just took a birthing class because I already had a lot of experience with newborn care with my aunt's twins. :) This time we aren't taking any classes since it's baby #2. Keeping calm when it happens is really the key ingredient. :)

Lol yeah, it is a ton of classes, but we really do need help with everything haha. Neither of us have had any kids, and my mother didn't breastfeed, so she doesn't have any advice. The infant CPR class is because I choked on something as a child and my parents were able to get it out because of something like this class. So I'm just being extra cautious :)

I have no doubt that I'll keep calm lol its my BF that I'm worried about. He may get a little stressed, but he'll be fine.

Taking notes during class may seem nerdy but it helped us a lot! I definitely think it made a difference.

Haha. Perhaps a shot of liquor for him before labor gets serious.
My husband was pretty thrilled and fascinated. He had promised me for the entire pregnancy that he wouldn't look down there. As soon as the nurse said, "I see his head!" all of that went out the window. I was so mad :haha:
