offering him water??

should i offer him cooled, boiled water in hot weather or is breastmilk enough?
im bit worried he might get dehydrated as i misjudged the amount of layers to put on him earlier and he's sweated loads. he has had quite a big feed since.

He's waaaay too little. Offer him booby to drink.

Water is not needed until 6 months/when you are weaning

Yeah I agree with the others. Don;t give water until weaning and even then you don't even need to if LO doesn;t want it. Breast and breast milk are very clever and adapt to the weather if it gets hotter, the milk gets more watery.

Breast milk is all they need if your a new parent it does take time to learn how to do things i also had the same problem with learning how many layers to put on them at night

I didnt give Tabs any until she was eating meals too, then i just offered her juice at meal times if she wanted it. When he's a bit older (3m ish) perhaps if its really hot?

Like the others said he wont need it as long as his having loads of booby feeds. booby milk is sooo clever it will adpat to babies needs x

oh i was wondering this, by Finn is older, 3.5 months. He seems to want feeding more often, I think he might be thirsty. Not weaning yet though. Would water be bad? I don't always like getting me baps out in public

The problem with water when they are little is that it gives them a false feeling of being full so they might not 'eat' when they really need to.
