Awhile ago, I decided that I really liked the name Kerrigan Roxanne for a girl. The name Kerrigan comes from the last name of a video game character named Sarah Kerrigan (I'm quite the girl gamer :smug:) and Roxanne comes from the Police song, though it's not related to the actual context of the song.

OH really adores the name Osirus for a boy, and now that we actually have to think of names we've decided that we'd use his first name as Osi's middle name, so it'd be Osirus Michael.

What do you all think?

Iv never heard of Osirus, how do you pronounce it?

Kerrigan is certainly differnt but people would probley shorten it to Kerri.

I like Kerrigan...Carrington was on my early girls list which is similar. When I googled the boys name I came up with some odd pages...like a green Egyptian God and references to a rapper. Nothing to go on to give an opinion so I won't on Osirus.

Osirus kind of reminds me of Orion, which is our boy name choice, so he has my vote! Although Orion can be called Ryan which is a "normal" name, but could Osirus be made more normal should the child want? Sirus I suppose. To me thats ok, but you know what people are like with unusual names. Michael in contrast is so usual, its a bit of a surprise!

I LOVE Roxanne. I heard it means dawn? Its lovely and very unique

those are nice different names the girl name Kerrigan reminds me of the movie Casper :) I like them!!

I like Kerrigan but she'd end up being called Kerri. If you like that though it's no prob! I would just consider how often he or she would end up spelling her name to people, and having it misspelt and misheard.

That's true about people misspelling their names, though my name is Brooke and people sometimes can't spell it!
