I've just found out yesterday that my mother has spent the whole of the 2 + years I've been ttc knitting "baby stuff". Mitts, jumpers, you name it she has made it. She says she scared to throw them away "just in case".
And then, once I got home, it was my brother in law who was visiting asking "So where is my little nephew? No sign of him yet?" :sad2:
Oh dear, Oh dear :nope:
The only one who never asks is my father who says he has more sense  I wish everyone else would.
Spent the whole of the visit at my mums discussing breast milk vs powder as she insists on talking about my non - existent brood.
Christ, I just wish a pregnancy would occur, anything to break the circle.

sorry to hear this must put you under some pressure :hugs: x

oh I am so sorry you had to deal with that. It really is hard to hear stuff like that when you have been trying for so long. We have been trying for going on 7 years so I have had a few situations like that happen to me. I am so sorry hun.

Thankyou everyone.

It annoys DH to no end. But I've also caught DH subtly eyeing baby stuff in morrisons when we do our shop. And online at Amazon at home.

Its like, where does this madness end!?! If / When I finally conceive?

Its like its not about me getting pregnant, its about when can everyone race about spending a fortune on baby items and spoil a new baby in the family.

But it just won't happen, despite having perfect cycles etc

Wow, such ignorance towards TTC. Too much of it goes on. My mom once in a while likes photos on facebook saying "Grandma is the best job in the world" and each time she does it breaks my heart since it almost happened by nature decided that the pregnancy wouldn't follow through.
