Hey ladies. So everytime me and OH have sex u get awful back and period type pain afterwards. This time im in complete agony im leaning over the birthing ball in so much pain. The back pain is constant but I keep getting waves of period type cramping that get more intense. Please tell me this is something? X

I didn't even know I was in labor because it just felt like some cramps to me. If it's coming in waves and building it sounds like labor (though mine came and really never went away).

My labour started as period like cramps for a good few hours so don't assume it's as a result of DTD, after all sex is good to bring on labour. I wrote down how often I was getting the pains and eventually they got regular enough to know they were the real thing. Maybe take a bath to ease the discomfort. Good luck x x

Sperm is supposed to be a good way to bring on labour. Has to do with the prostaglandins ripening the cervix. If you react so much after sex, If I were you, I would abstain for a few weeks.

Sorry if TMI, but an orgasm causes uterine contractions even when NOT pregnant, but when you're pregnant they can be intense and pretty painful. I've told DH I'd love his prostoglandins, but no O for me! It hurts, lol.
