OH wont let me put the tree up!

well Colin said we're not putting the tree up till closer to christmas. grrr! i started wrapping presents lastnight and got really excited about the whole thing.. but no.. the tree wont be going up for another couple of weeks

Tell him to foff. LOL!! Hubby said I had to wait, but I told him it wasn't only his decision, and what harm was it doing by going up early?? In the end he knew I'd just put it up anyway, cos what's he gonna do?! We're not gonna fall out over it, so he's just rolled his eyes and said I was stupid, and that was that.

It is all realitive for me anuyway as i binned ours last year, telling myself i would buy one in Jan sales, did i? did i heck as like

I know many people do do this. However, we did it one year on Christmas Eve (before we had kids) and it just felt like it was a bit late to be doing it.

I love having it up and enjoying the lights, etc.

I was in the same situation! I'm getting mine up on Sunday !
What I have done is get all my xmas decorations and lay them out all over the livingroom and I told him that I am "sorting" them!
he has now become so pee'd off with looking at them I am now getting my tree up early!
