Hello everyone! Has anyone experienced OHSS? I am not sure if I have it but I am extremely bloated. I have a slight pain when I breath in my right shoulder area and my ovaries are really sore. The Dr. said to drink lots of gatorade/water and call them if the pain becomes worse than bad period pains. I am so uncomfortable and worried. If I go into the office, will they be able to do a scan and tell me if I have OHSS? I know OHSS is common with IVF but all I had was 100mg of clomid. My body way overreacted to the clomid and now I feel like crap. Have been for over a week now. When will I feel better????

I am not really sure, I should know but I haven't overly looked into it. I did get similar symptoms after IVF Egg Collection that lasted about 4 days.I just keep up the fluids, and drank 2 - 3 litres a day of Gatorade or similar, and water. I also took some Panadol. Contacting your Dr about your concerns is the best thing to do which you have done. Hang in there and I hope you feel better soon

I think the symptoms you are having is perfectly normal for what you have gone through. If you did have OHSS I think you would be really quite sick. To be on the safe side I would contact your doctor, always better to be safe than sorry.
