Right so, I came down with thrush 4days ago, treated mtself with internal cream on monday, had a lot of creamy discharge tues (which I presumed was the cream making it's way out) then yesterday my discharge was still creamy but it was tinged pink with little bits of what I couldn't decide were either stringy blood or fleshy bits (sorry!) then today it has gone a pinky orangy colour! much less coming out, only when I wipe. I only read the info leaflet properly afterward and it says consult your doctor if your ttc b4 using this cream! Do you think I have done some damage??? AF is due sunday/monday and I sometimes spot before she comes but it's usually brown...

Any comments are very welcome cheers!

Clotrimazole 10g, I can't use the pessarys they rip me to shreds!

hmmmmmmmmmm..... well clotrimazole can be taken in pregnancy, not sure about ttc though, however it's likely fine.... The risk of birth defects is extremely small with clotrimazole, and since you would have taken it prior to implantation it is extremely unlikely that it would cause any probs.

I'm no doctor but your reaction to the med does seems rather harsh. Perhaps you have an allergy? I suggest you go to a doc to check that out. Especially if yeast is a reoccuring prob for you.

And I'm not sure if you've tried any alternative remedies yet, but sometimes they can be gentler.... There's yogurt (a fav of mine)... Just makesure it's plain (No sugar, no fruits, etc cause yeast LOVES sugar). You can just use it topically, some people dip a tampon in it then insert the tampon for a few hours once or a couple of times a day and you could do that for a few days until it's better.. There's also garlic. Garlic kills yeast. just shove a clove up there using the same regimen as you would the yogurt. it's best you sew a string to the clove so you're not spending all day trying to fish it out lol. Also, you should cut a slit in the garlic because that will allow it to relase allicin which is what kill the yeast. Don't go overboard on slitting the garlic though, cause that can make it sting.
