My 2 year old is called Charles.

We really like old fashioned names but we're stuck! OH likes Henry and I do too but I'm not sure...... I really like Isabelle for a girl.

Any suggestions?

Im not so keen on Henry, but Harry is a good name.
But i think Isbelle is lovley, its an old name but it still sounds very pretty, and sound alot like some of the more modern names.

Read some Jane Austen for old fashioned names!

William
Charles
George
Thomas
Edward

Jane
Elizabeth
Harriot
Fanny (ok this may not have aged well but you could go the Francesca route)
Charlotte (Kitty)
Lydia
Mary
Emma
Catherine
Margaret

Unless you mean the more Alfred, Enid, Ethel route!

Male: William, James, Arthur, Thomas

Female : Anna, Elizabeth, Victoria, Clara, Emma, Charlotte, Amelia

I love old fashioned names. Henry is nice for a boy. As far as girls go how about Rose, Sylvie, Lilly, Alice or Evelyn?

Thanks everyone. It's really hard choosing names!

Henry is our top name right now so I like it of course! Eleanor is the name we have picked out for a girl, it's nice and old fashioned.

Henry is a lovely name! I like George too!

What about Eva for a girl? thats pretty old fashioned.

Its soo hard trying to pick names, i did start skipping movies to the end and then reading through all the credits!

i love old fashioned names!! i'm a fan of ones like frederick and nathaniel! i have to say tho, alice seems to be the oldest one around!! the amount of times old men tell me that their grandma's grandma was called alice!! me and my sister are alice and sally, neither of which are exactly young names!!!!

Alice is one of the faves at the moment. It's so sweet and angelic!

What about Ronnie (Ronald) Dougie (Douglas) or Freddie (Fredrick) for a little boy.
