I have increasing pain in my lower right back, sort of behind my hip? I've had it from v early on, along with tailbone pain but as I'm getting bigger its getting so much worse. Is it even worth bringing up with gp when I c him Monday? N does anyone else get it just on one side?! Xx

Hi,

I haven't got any advice, but just wanted to give hugs because this describes me exactly and I know how you feel. I'm only 18 weeks and mines just on and off at the moment so I guess I've just got to look forward to it getting worse. Hope it doesn't get to bad for you though :)

Thanks hun! Seeing Dr tomoz so will mention it n let u know what he says (if anything!) The pain at night is really getting to me-i need sleep! It hurts to turn over or when I get up to pee feel like I'm therefore awake more than I'm asleep lol x

Thanks, yeah would be good to know what the doc says - fingers crossed it's just the baby sitting oddly or something. Hope you can get some sleep soon

I have the same pain not really on one side though, I have spd and i'm waiting to see a physio xx

I have pain in right side when I went to scan they told me baby was all on the right and don't wanna stretch out even thu she is active and hoping when she gets bigger it will ever out haha

If your worried bring up with gp or midwife

Hugs and hope you feel better soon x

If you have any pain like this you should mention it to the GP or MW when you see them. It could be pregnancy related pelvic pain (SPD is 1 of many areas affected by this) which can appear in your hips, back, groin etc. If it is then you would be best to get to the physio.
