One week old weight gain

Hi ladies

Rory was born 9lb 14 and at first midwife apt he was weighed and was 10lb, MW seemed altitude shocked and at the next MW apt 2 days later he was 10lb 6! He is being ff and isn't taking 4 fl oz every 3-4 hrs, MW said that was about right and good sign that he was gaining.

I was just wondering anyone else babies put on weight, everyone I tell seems so shocked that he's put on? Thanks ladies x

My DD2 was born 8lbs 11oz and at her 6 day weigh-in was 9lbs. So not all babies lose weight after birth. Nothing was said by the midwife though. xx
