Like with my girl's name I would love the longer name for my little man, but just cannot have him being called Willy! Especially when my 4 year old niece immediately said 'William sounds like a willy'

What do you think? I can imagine a tiny baby being a Max, a teen and a gorgeous man?

My son is almost 13 and his name is William. We chose to call him Will to distinguish him from my dad. And nobody has ever called him Willy!! (thank goodness!)

I think Max sounds like a dog name, in fact I think it's the #1 dog name in the USA. I like it otherwise, and it sounds good with William.

sounds fantastic. Almost like Maximilian

Max William was my first choice if we had a boy but OH wasn't keen! Loooove it!

Max is a cute name! I know someone with a son with the full 'Maximillian' but am not keen on the long form. Much prefer the short version!

I love the name Max but not William. Sounds too posh to me and also it's an ex's name so not overly keen lol

I like it, the short name and then the long name make it look nice when written and they sound great together :)

I like the name too. What about Maxwell? Deffo not a dogs name, and is shorter than Maximillian?

my little boy is one at the end of month and he is called Max Andrew, i love max there are so many middle names to go with it!

Oh gawd, sorry

It's the hormones, I just say the first thing that springs into my head at the moment lol
