opinions on an unusual boys name please

so i have my 20week scan in 2 days, on Tuesday (cant wait!) and hoping to find out if we're expecting a lil baby boy or girl

so we've been thinking of names since day one and have a girls name decided (minus the middle name) but finding boys names a lil harder...

we were pretty set on Logan and we do still love it but kinda put off by it's popularity? is it really that popular?

but there's another boys name we're considering, its pretty unusual, the name is Xenon / Zennon, what do you ladies think of this name?

i love logan and tbh i dont think its common im not really keen on xenon but its your baby and if you both like it go for it

Hey,

one of my best friends little brother is called Zennen and he gets called Zen for short. he loves his name and I really like it too. It's different but not ridiculous or made up.

I also love Logan but I think you're right about the popularity!

I would pronounce Xenon & Zennon differently -- prefer the Zennon version -- although MUCH prefer Lennon, to be honest!

That's funny, I thought of that movie too but figured no one would have any clue what I was talking about. The name also reminds me of aliens and Scientology...and if any of you know anything about it, it's a religon based off of a science ficton writer's take on God, Aliens and craziness...it's different, crazy even.

I like Logan but feel the same as you, I wouldn't name my baby Logan b/c it is too popular. Not crazy on Zennon or Xenon.

I have never heard of any Logan's but understand names like this are gaining in popularity, still, I wouldn't say you would encounter many other Logan's... Hudson is also another I have heard, along with Jenson.

I LOVE Xennon though, really different - but I am a sucker for unusual names!

if we go with Xenon/Zennon it will most likely be with a double N... dont want any confusion with pronounciation!
really liking being able to shorten to Zen too! and cant think of any ways to shorten Logan if we wanted to... hmm...
