Opinions on our choice of names please!

So it seems that hubby and I have finally agreed on some baby names, we were really stuck on names for boys in particular.

Tabitha Rose for a girl.

Jesse Caleb for a boy.

The only problem is that our surname begins with a B, so if it was a boy he'd have the initials JCB. Do you think that would be a problem? Would love some opinions on the names please!

I think they're both fine names and I don't see any issue with the initials!

I like Jesse and the middle names but Im not a fan of Tabitha, I knew a girl named that and everyone called her Tabby or Tabby cat and used to make fun of her...

I think those names are lovely hun. I wouldn't worry too much about the initials. My daughters initials are ELF lol But her name Eve Louise Fletcher really suits her. x

i really like both names! I like Tabby as a nickname too so i dont see that as a problem and i think most boys would find having the initials JCB quite cool

I really like the name Tabitha and it's a name I'd choose.

JCB sounds good to me - if he's like the boys I know he won't care or will find it funny. He could always not include his middle name if it gets annoying as he gets older - I don't really use my middle name.

I also think I don't like the name Tabitha because I didn't like the girl... Its funny how names can be ruined just by association of a person!

Thanks for your opinions. I'm glad people don't seem to think the initials matter too much, it's not like they spell something bad! Hopefully we're sorted now and won't change our minds!

we decided not to go for a particular first name because baby would have the initials bmw if it was a boy. i think if you feel you shouldn't, then trust your instincts.

Jesse Caleb is cute too! I don't know what "JCB" stands for?? Sounds fine to me??

I just looked it up online & all i could find was a company that makes construction vehicles? If that is what you are referring to... boys love big trucks!

Besides i have also seen Caleb spelled Kaleb... so you could always name him Jesse Kaleb and have the initials "JKB"

Love both names. Initials would not be a problem for me - how often do you write yours down or think of what other people's spell - not often.

i really like them both and i dont think jcb would be a problem.. when do you ever see peoples initials written down anyway?
