Opinions please

Me and OH are expecting on the 19th and can't decide on a name. If baba is a boy I really like the name Forrest William White and if baba is a girl Anna-Lily (though OH prefers Lily-Anna, what's your opinion?). Also everyone reckons it will get bullied endlessly if I call him Forrest so I'd like your true opinion of it. Thanks

Hm, I think the Forrest question depends on where you live? But have you thought about William Forrest While? Seem to flow better to me and that way he can choose to keep the Forrest to himself if he wishes. Anna-Lily is beautiful as well. I like Lily-Anna a lot too but then you need to be aware that a lot of people are going to call her Liliana (beautiful name as well though I think). I always liked the name Anelie (Anne-eh-Lee), don't know if that might be another option to consider?
Definately very beautiful names you've picked though!!!

Just out of curiousity, would you tell us what else was on your list? Wondering if I might be able to nick some for my own list....

I am horribly conservative about names...but I am not sure its fair to give a child a name that 'stands out'. Bullies don't need a reason to pick on someone but still...

Thanks for the input, Analie is very pretty. Other names we have on our list are, Niles, james, Pierre, dominic, Fraser, Tyler, alex, Taylor, keira, Carmel, harley, raven... Quite a few lol

I like Pierre and Dominic, and Carmel (my middle name Only problem is idiots making caramel jokes )

Forrest is not that uncommon here in the Northwestern US. Pulling inspiration from nature is a common place here....River, Sierra, Willow etc. I personally think the bullying thing is over-rated. If the name sounded like an obcenity or such that would be different. Just my opinion though!

forrest is more common in the US so Ive heard it but I think of Forrest Gump which I love my DH would probably love to name our child that for that reason. anyway I do prefer Lily-anna to anna-lily seems to flow better to me or maybe because if my LO had been a girl we were gonna call her lillyan yeah Im not much help but I like you names and I dont think bullying would be that bad on the name Forrest I like it
