So today is day 3 of using the CBOPK. I have been testing first thing in the a.m. I am also using a couple of different ovulation apps on my phone. There is one that tells me the best time to test with OPK is btwn 2:00pm-8:00pm, first thing in the morning is probably the worst time. Does anyone have any experience with this? Please help...

Hiya, yes I use OPK regularly, and have also read not to use FMU for OPK'S as there is always some level of LH in our urine and it builds up overnight, possibly giving a false positive/surge. Hope that helps :) xx

Yes that helps, guess I'm gonna test again tonight when I get home from work. I hope this works

I've been reading up on opk's as I just recently started them too. I read between 12-8pm and then if you are going to test twice a day 12pm-3pm and 5-8pm. Just make sure you do it the same time every day. GL!!!

Thanks dncr It's funny, I was going to bring them to work, but I don't have enough time to take a break to go POAS. I get home around 7:30-8pm, so I can test right when I get home.

Perfect time!

I didn't know about the testing in the pm. I just assumed I should test in the am. Good to know! This will be my first month using the OPK and our 2nd month TTC.

I just realized that I should have waited to go the bathroom earlier (tmi) so I could test when I get home. Same rules apply right??? You need to wait at least 4 hours
