OPK question??

Okay so on June 8th i got a positive on the OPK we did the dance the night after, Two cycles previous i was calculating my LP and it was 14 days so i should have had my period on June 23, but it came 11 days late.

So my question is even though you have a surge on a OPK can you still ovulate late? i really dont get this.... I was so sure i was pregnant this month

Yes it is possible to get a positive OPK a surge in your LH and then not ovulate afterwards... or just ovulate late. That is why you should chart your temps and use OPKs together to be the most accurate. That way you can confirm you ovulated by the rise in your temps.
