Oral Sex hurting TTC chances?

So, I happened to stumble upon this information online... and I had no idea.

Apparently oral sex can hurt your TTC chances. I usually give my fiancé head before we have sex.


More recently moreso and i'm now wondering if this is why we haven't gotten pregnant. it says that saliva kills the sperm.

This is so frustrating because this cycle we hit every day right. Now i'm thinking its all for nothing, as we did oral before penetration every single time.

I'm not a doctor, but normally a lot of sperm is released when a man ejaculates.

Taking a quote from a science page, "A healthy adult male can release between 40 million and 1.2 billion sperm cells in a single ejaculation".

I have sincere doubts that saliva could effect all of the sperm. I mean, if you covered him in a thick sheet of saliva, maybe.

I have given my husband head many times before switching direction and it has never been an issue.
