I've been given a ton of second hand baby clothes. Amongst them is a really nice white snow suit but unfortunately it's got an orange stain on it and I can't seem to get rid of it. I think it's probably a carrot stain.

Just wondering if anyone has any tips for me?

So far I've tried Fairy Liquid, Vanish Oxi powder, spot bleaching and now currently washing in biological washing powder (will rewash in non-bio before baby wears it).

Any other ideas or suggestions?

Soak it in bicarbonate soda or wilkinsons do there own stain remover for whites i found this worked better than vanish

bicarb mixed with lemon juice, sprinkle on BC then squirt with lemon........ may work

1001 stain remover?

I usually find that soaking overnight in a really hot (think almost boiling) and strong solution of Vanish (or Wizz or whatever) stain remover powder will get rid of most stains and then hanging outside in the sun to bleach the rest out. If it's an organic stain, the sun is more likely to get it out.

I got a bunch of cloth diapers that had stains on them. A few days sitting in the sun and the stains are gone. Its good the snow suit is white so you could try that.
