our first incident

last night chloe choked. I think she tried to swallow too much at once- she was rather enjoying her carrot sweetcorn and pea puree!

It was horrid she was coughing and gagging but couldnt shift it. I picked her up and patted her back and she was sick everywhere, and i mean everywhere- my slippers and currently in the wash!!

luckily it hasnt put her off and she happily took apple and pear this morning, but it was scary!

Don't worry, I know the feeling. My LO was sucking on a teething biscuit and managed to get too big a piece off and choked on it. He also got sick everywhere.

It's horrible when they first choke. I totally panicked the first time she did it, it was on a rusk. I patted her and she brought up chewed up rusk and milk. Wasn't nice. Glad she's ok

aww poor pickle! Alasdair hasn't choked yet...but when I've thought he might be I've been rather worringly calm about it. I hope he doesn't ever choke for real because I have a habit of thinking 'oh he'll get it up himself!'
