Jordyn Myrtle Marie Lovei was brought into the world on June 19th 2013 at 3:00 a.m. exactly by a natural vaginal birth 
We are SO in love!!
The night before on Tuesday at 4 in the morning I woke up and went to the bathroom to go pee, the day before I felt weird all day, just sick to my stomach and over all blah..
I knew something was going to happen soon because I was getting intense braxton hicks for about a week and was trying to walk a lot to start labour..
Anyways, I went to the bathroom and and I finished and all of a sudden my WHOLE mucous plug came out.. I woke my fiance up and told him and decided to go back to bed cause something might not happen for a few days still, so I layed back down but couldn't fall back asleep because of bad period like cramps.
In the morning I took a shower and got ready and they were still coming but were all over the place and not a certain time apart.
I had a OB appointment at 11 so waited till then..
11 rolls around and my OB tells me to go to labour and delivery for an asessment.
We go and they check if my waters had gone and they hadnt.. they checked if I was dialated but they said my cervix was still to far up and they couldn't even feel it..
On the walk back from the hospital they started to get worse but assumed it was just because of the check they did..
Around 4 in the afternoon they were getting worse but I just breathed through them and tim rubbed my back.
We decided to go to the hospital again and I knew I was going to have the baby that day, I just knew it.. I was timing my contractions and they were 4-5 minutes apart!
We got there and they checked me again and said the same thing! Cervix was high and said I could go home or stay for a few hours..
I stayed and they told me to walk or bounce on the ball because laying in bed wouldn't make me progress if I was going to.
There was noo way I was walking so I decided to bounce on the ball!
It made me feel much better
By that time my mom had arrived (she lives 2 hours away and flew here, even got a speeding ticket! Lmao) my mom, her husband, fiances mom and fiance were in the room while I was on that ball.
The pain wasn't incredibly bad at that point I could just feel a lot of pressure and burning in my back.
Out of 10 it was probably a 5 or 6.
A few of them did take my breath away though! But inbetween contrations I hardly felt anything. They were 2 and a half to 3 minutes apart and it was about 8 oclock.
My water broke on the ball and it was a lot ! Lol, its one of the weirdest feelings ever.. like you just peed yourself haha.
They checked me again and I was 6cm.. I asked for a epidural at this point because I was having back labour so bad!
They called the anesthegiologist (can't spell) and he drove there! It felt like it took forever
and they were waiting on blood tests before they could give it to me.
Contractions were getting intense by this time.. I bitched at a nurse when she was trying to put an IV in and told my mom to get me the epidural? Lol..
But I was pretty calm, not screaming.. just breathing through them.
The epidural guy finally got there, I was a bit scared but knew the pain wouldn't be as bad as the contractions.
My fiance stood infront of me while I hunched over for the epidual.
About 10 minutes later I felt SO much better.
I was looking over at the contraction machine and the contractions were so strong.
I could still feel them in my back a bit and it was pretty uncomfortable but not nearly as bad as before.
All of a sudden about 12 a.m. her heart rate dropped from 130-140 to 70! I was so scared, asking them what was wrong but they wouldn't tell me !
I was freaking out.. what's worse is my fiance didn't leave the entire time but he went down to the floor below us to get a juice.. I started panicking asking what's happening to my baby and they were just running around putting oxygen on me and yelling "call the doctor"..
They turned me to my side and her heart rate seemed to go back up.
It happened one more time after that also..
At around 1:30 a.m. they checked me and I was 10 cm!!
I could still feel the contractions in my back and they said I could "labour down" which means let the baby come down a bit more by herself and they said it would prevent me from having a lot of tears or I could start pushing then, I told them I didn't feel pressure yet and id let her labour down.
At around 2:15 a.m. I started to feel pressure and they told me I could start pushing
I couldn't believe I was about to meet the baby girl id been growing inside of me for nine months
I started pushing, but I couldn't really feel where to push because of the epidural so the one nurse stuck her fingers in there (tmi) and told me to push them out, lol..
And that nurse told my fiance to hold my leg!! The entire pregnancy I told him I didn't want him to look down there, but at that moment it didn't matter.. he supported me through the entire thing, giving me so much encouragment and not to mention before hand when I was having contractions.. he let me squeeze the crap out of his hand and was rubbing my lower back, he was amaaazing!
I pushed and pushed, she was at my pubic bone and they told me once she was past it, it would be a lot easier. I pushed with everything I had, she got past it and my boyfriend said "I see hair!"
Continued pushing and looked down to see her beautiful face and it gave me more strength, I gave three or four good pushes and our beautiful daughter was born..
She was put on my chest right away and it was the most amazing moment of my life! daddy cut the umbilical cord and brought her officially into the world and they took her to the other side of the room to do everything they needed to do.
Tim and I were crying, it was a love we both have never felt it our lives
We later found out that the reason her heart rate was dropping was because the umbilical cord was wrapped around her neck 3 times! so scary.. but she is a perfect, healthy baby xo
ANd the reason I had so much back pain was because of back labour due to her facing down not up (hopefully you don't have back labour, it feels like your getting stabbed in your lower back above your butt crack,lol!)
Some funny moments during my labour:
-anesthegiologist had to drive there and they had to get blood tests before they gave it to me.. I told my mom to get me the epidural and I kept bitching asking where the blood tests were
-my mom at one point was rubbing my upper back and fiance was rubbing my lower back, I told my mom "JUST LET TIM DO IT".. haha
-the nurse had to put the IV in and it was during a contraction and I was like "CAN YOU DO THIS LATER?" Lmao.
And the funniest moment..
-while I was pushing, my closest aunt seemed to get past the maternity ward doors and walked in on me pushing, spread eagle! LOL, her face was priceless. The nurses just yelled "we'll get you after" and shut the curtain because she was standing there in shock.
Our daughter is the most amazing thing that has ever happened to us, she is a great baby and hardly cries! She is amazzzing
