Ooooh... that was a typing error!!! Lol. Supposed to be Oscar. I don't particuarly like the name. My DH loves it. For me it's more of a dogs name. Lol

I love your lists. The names that stand out the most to me are...

Alexis
Liliana

I like both with the middle name Rose.

Riley
Jaden

*Ahem* We have chosen Oscar for our baby if it is a boy. But you are right about the dog connotation - GMTV did an article last week on popular pet names and it made top of the list I think. Luckily we like dogs :-)

We can't agree on a girl's name at all. One week we each like something, the next we changed our mind - sometimes we decide we like each others, then they fall out of favour.

FOB likes Genevieve (my choice originally, dont know why now) shortened to Evie (which is the name of my cat so thats a no anyway!), Lily, Rosie, erm.. I might have stopped listening at this point... I like Sylvie/Silvia, Willow, Harriet/Harry, Gwen(dolyn)... He doesn't!

We know this means its going to be a girl because we have the boy's name all ready and a little girl would throw us into chaos!!

Awww, sorry about the Oscar thing. I think it is cute on a baby, but I always think about an adult with the name too and it just doesn't gel with me. Each to their own though! Lol. Also my MIL's cat's called Oscar.

I love the name Evie! Can't believe I forgot to put it on my list! It's going to be hard choosing a name! I think he or she will end up having 2 middle names!

Well we both work in theatre so for us an Oscar works in many ways! OH is actually in a play at the moment where a character has that name which seems kinda ironic... However if LO shuns the theatre and goes into academics or business its a fairly sturdy name for that too...

How funny that you know a cat called Oscar and mine is called Evi - but she is actually "Evenstar" from Tolkien. There are so many pretty girl names but how do you find that perfect one? We've decided that for a girl we really are going to have to wait to meet her before we can make such a decision...

Alfie and Amelia (Rose) win for me

You have good taste... that's what we've picked for a girl... Amelia Rose. It's lovely isn't it? Still not sure what I like out of my list for boys. Probably because I'm so desperate for a girl! Then again I was last time and I got a boy, so it'll be sods law i'll have another one! Lol. As long as it's healthy I don't mind what we have. x

I like Lily, but maybe I'm biased because that's my name! Must say I was the only one with my name in my classes through school (only knew one other Lily in my school!). As for the boys names I like William (I like it shortened to Will) and I like Riley too.

Lots of Lilys and Evies on the 2009 name poll on here and Archies too.

Oddly enough OH's top two girl's names are Lily and Evie. I like them a lot but not enough... I still really like Silvia which is the Roman equivalent of my own name... I can see a compromise heading our way...

Looks more or less like the Top 10 Baby Names list here and in the US. Grace, Lily, Mia, Alfie etc

i'd say Alfie Nathaniel from names from your list

I love Lily Rose now too. Don't know how we're ever going to decide!

We're going for the let's meet him/her and decide. My mum had lists of preferred names then changed her mind as soon as she saw us and realised we just didn't suit her chosen names!
