ovarian cysts in pregnancy/ blood pockets

i had a scan tody and they found a 34mm x 32 mm corpus luteum cyst on my left ovary and they also found a small pocket of blood has anyone else gone through this im on aspirin and progesterone cause i have recurrent mc x

I had a corpus luteum cyst on my ovary, it was discovered when it ruptured when I was 5 weeks pregnant. They were able to go in and drain the fluid laparoscopically, and the pregnancy survived. For the next 8 weeks or so the cyst was still there and was fairly large, but did not cause any more problems. It eventually disappeared.

The pregnancy went past term (he was 11 days overdue) and my baby is very healthy, with no complications from the cyst or the surgery.

Hey Jenny I have a cyst on my right ovary and my dr said that is very normal in a healthy pregnancy and our babies use that for nutrients til the placenta takes over and it will abosorb.

The pools of blood are called placenta lakes and apparently they are fairly common.

I had a large 'lake' which caused a lot of concern bacuse the ultra sound ladies had never seen one that size before but everything was ok.

I had a very large ovarian cyst found on my left ovary during pregnancy - they thought it was 10 cm x 7 something... They surgically removed it in the November after I had the baby in May (they found out it was much bigger than expected they got over 1/2 liters of fluid out of it! they couldn't see it all due to problems from previous surgery). My consultants opinon was there was no point in trying to drain it unless is started growing and causing problems (which it never did)>

The op was complex because of my old surgery - BUT the recovery was amazing - as they did it key hole - I could not believe how quickly I recovered.

I know most of the cyst disappear but if if doesn't please don't worry about the surgery (I did worry so much and after it was like - its that it done?).
