This might seem a little personal but we're all friends on here right?
Basically i want to know what bras you ladies are wearing? I got told by a friend that i shouldn't be wearing underwired ones coz it can cause mastitus [sp?] and other nasty booby problems but the only non wired bras i can find are horrible! And give me no shape or cleavage! Plus my boobs have grown to a massive 32F!!! and non underwired bras really dont give the same support..xx

I wear underwire bras.
I have to, to support my rather larger boobs. If I dont have underwire in them then i have no boobs or they sag. Which is nasty.
my bras i get from walmart cause i can get them cheaper and get the same support as other bras.

I wear ones with underwires. I've heard that if you have large boobs, not having enough support can cause mastitus as well, so you mind as well be comfortable.

I wear underwired. My boobs are tiny, so I need the shape and boost, iykwim? I always wear underwired, and wore underwired through the whole of my pregnancy, and breastfeeding. I have to say I never once had mastitis..

i managed to get a non-underwired one from mothercare ... they aren't that cheap but its really comfy and its a nursing bra too ... i managed to get it in the sale so it was like half price, its black with little white polka dots on it. not the prettiest of bra's but its not boring either hehe other than that i'm wearing my sports bra lol ... no1 see's my boobs in or out of underwear anymore anyways lol

ive always worn underwired bras, even in my first pregnancy and ive had no problems

I wore underwire my whole pregnancy and after i had my son and have this whole pregnancy so far.

Never had any issues

underwired bras are perfectly ok to wear during and after pregnancy just as long as they are fitted properly. they can only cause mastitus and other booby problems if they arent fitted properly thus causing pressure on the breast tissue itself.

mastitus is where the milk ducts become blocked and inflammed and can cause quite a nasty uncomfortable infection if not cared for properly, and it hurts like hell! xx

I wear underwired, I'd hate to think what my chest would be like in non-wired bras, especially as I was 32F pre-pregnancy :O, they haven't yet expanded massively, but they have definitely grown. I just pray that they don't get any bigger because they're a nightmare as it is xx

I wear underwire too, I am a DD cup now and w/o the support they'd be half way to my belly button, lol.

Wow thanks ladies. I will be sticking to underwired then! I bought some nursing bras from M&S because when i went to get measured she said the thing about mastitus and underwiring but they're horrible and dont make me feel particularly sexy! What a good excuse to get OH to buy me some new underwear that actually fits me..xx
