Ovulation after mc

Hi ladies. I started bleeding on 26th at 7w 3ds and passed baby and sac on the 28th. I stopped bleeding a few days ago and have still has really strong positives until today when faint positives. Just wondering when you ovulated post mc and how close that was to your normal cycle dates. After my mc 3 years ago I conceived my dd before my next period and although I'm not sure I want to try again this cycle I feel I need to know so I can decide rather than just missing it if that makes sense

I'm fairly certain I ovulated 14 days after my mc (had a d&c) and I had a 28 day cycle (which is normal for me) if I count the d&c as CD1. I had all my usual ovulation signs on two days (day 13 & 14 after the d&c), ovulation cramps, and I tested with an opk. It was positive those 2 days like it normally would be for me and negative again after. I don't know if it would be different with a natural miscarriage though, as the d&c sort of forces it obviously.

I personally wasn't ready yet at that point, so we intentionally didn't try, but we started trying again that next cycle after I got my first period and we got pregnant again right away. You obviously know it's possible, but I think go easy on yourself if you aren't sure you're ready yet. For us, we definitely needed a break. I needed my body to feel normal again for a bit and I needed some time to not think about pregnancy as I'd already felt like I'd been pregnant a long time (d&c was at 11 weeks) and just couldn't bear to go through it again so soon. I did feel ready by the next cycle though and I'm glad we started to try then.

Thank you for sharing! Congratulations on your pregnancy I'm really hoping I can get my next bfp soon. I understand why you waited a cycle, Some days i just want to get pregnant again and others to forget all about ttc for a while. I finally got a very close to being negative hpt so I'm going to start opks tomorrow but as of Monday my dh is away for 5 days so I thought I'd let that decide whether we try this cycle or not
