Ovulation after Methotrexate-HCG levels

Hello--anyone who suffered ectopic and was treated non surgically with methotrexate? I was treated on October 3rd and my HCG finally measured 0 on 11/5. What did you gals experience as far as first ovulation after this treatment? My temps are weird and my OPK's seem to be getting lighter not darker...as if I've already ovulated. I don't really have an post O symptoms though. Help!

Have you had an af? After my first af I o'Ed around my normal time at cd 14. I also believe I even o'Ed before my levels reached 0 due to I pains I felt about 2 weeks before af arrived. My bloods were only tested once a week so I can't say when I got af. Numbers were 20 something, af a few days later, then next week numbers were 2 (considered 0). But I was treated with mtx and surgery so maybe my situation is a little different. It does seem like you may have already ovulated though and it's definitely possible !

Thanks. My problem is I bled the entire month of October until two days before my HCG measured zero...so who knows if that was a period in there. I didn't start temping until 5 days later. Then on that day, my temp seemed to be at the low point of my typical pre o temps and just climbed after that! It's still a couple tenths lower than normal post o, but well above my normal pre o. (the one really high number I'd had a few glasses of wine and woke up an hour late---so probably should discard it). It's just hard to believe that I would randomly start temping the day I ovulate! What are the odds? My OpK line was virtually non existent yesterday. This just keeps getting weirder and weirder.

Oh okay yeah I had a d and c and I also bled for most of May but then I had about a week and a half of no blood before getting what was a very obvious period so it's hard to say where you might be in your cycle. I wish I would have been temping before and throughout my whole experience . I think mtx can really change things up so its hard to say unfortunately . So I would def keep up with the temping and see what kind of answers you might get later on this week. I can't see your chart up close for bd info but are you actively ttc?

Actually I'm actively trying not to because I'm not supposed to get pregnant the first cycle after metho. However, if I actually ovulated on CD5 as it appears, then I stupidly timed BD two days before and the day after thinking I couldn't possibly be ovulating yet! So in essence I timed it perfectly. At least my CM was crap so I don't think there was much of a chance. I guess I'll just have to wait and see like you say.

You know what's funny, for some reason I had it in my head that you lived in UK. Maybe it was your picture, it looks British for some reason, lol. I have no idea why.

that's what I wasn't sure about. I heard conflicting things about MTX when I researched it. I ended up trying just before the 3 month mark. I think you should be fine - I really don't believe the body would have the ability to get pregnant if things were seriously wrong. Have you any more insight about your time of O?

Nope - I'm an American gal, but I was just in the UK in April and loved it there. Wouldn't mind converting if I had to
