ovulation after natural MC

So I miscarried twins on the 3rd. I bled for 6 days afterwards and took a negative test on the 6th day. It's day 9 now and I'm really suffering from what I can only describe as ovulation pain, only 500 times worse than usual.

Is it possible to be ovulating all ready? Surely not?

As a side not, for those that are charting or using OPKs, when did you first ovulate following a natural MC.

So sorry for your loss.

I didn't ovulate the first month after my miscarriage. I was charting and using a cbfm, and my results were all over the place. It all went back to normal the following month though.

I would be interested to know the same thing, I MC on the 5th and bleeding stopped yesterday, according to a normal month I would be ovulating next week so ill keep doing OPKs and hope for the best!! Hope its the same for you too! fingers crossed for us xxx

It's probably your uterus shrinking back- 9 days after a loss seems unlikely to be ovulation, but not impossible. You may find that the bleeding restarts again at some point again too.

It is possible you are ovulating. I found loads of examples on the net of ladies who O'd really soon after MC.

I personally did not O after my MC in December. I was BBT charting. I had O pain too, quite strong. I ended up getting a period only 15 days after I stopped bleeding (23 days after the start of my MC). I am now on cycle 2 and hoping I will O!

No more bleeding. When I was having the pain (which has dulled now) my cervix was still low, fairly open and creamy) it's now dissappeared into the back of beyond. Can't feel it at all.

Oh well, will wait and see, I just NEED to be pregnant, each week that passes it feels less likely I know that's rediculous.

So as I mentioned earlier I MC'd on the 5th, started Clearblue digi ovulation tests last week and got a flashing smiley on Sunday!! I was so excited to think I am going to O this month, 3 days later still getting flashing so I dunno whats going on, hopefully I should ovulate in the next few days! I want to be pregnant again so bad!!

I also had a scan on Saturday to check my uterus was clear and they confirmed everything was looking good and gone back to normal so there was no reason I shouldnt ovulate. there is hope for you!! good luck xxx
