Just a question regarding BBT rise and ovulation? I know there is no exact rule as everyone is different just want opinions :)

So my BBT taken at 6.30am tends to hover around 36.12 before ovulation, Sunday it was 36.62 but I had been drinking saturday night and didnt take the temp till 8am, so i dismissed that one! On Monday was it 36.18 taken at 6.30am then Tuesday it went up to 36.42 and has stayed above that since.

Do you think I ovulated Sunday? or Monday?

My OH and I only BD on Sunday morning as he has been unwell the past week so hasnt been up for baby dancing! :( so i'm thinking probably out again this month.

Hi gemba

Given the info i would say monday but obviously just wait it out a couple more days for your charting graph to confirm it. Due to fluctuations and daily life i would say its great your body has a very rhythmic routine with ovulation temperatures but im more inclined to say not to trust previous bbt temps for a current cycle, in winter it will be colder and summer warmer so to prevent less stress just take each cycle as it comes.

I know its hard lttc but all it takes is the one lucky sperm from one lucky BD session, as long as youve tried around the fertile time thats all that matters xxxxxx

Hope your OH gets well soon!!!

Yep I agree Monday sounds most likely, in which case your bd on Sunday was perfectly timed! Good luck!
