I had my Mirena removed on CD 6. I had a little spotting the following day. I started OPK's on CD 11 when I noticed a change in my CM. I've been having all the symptoms of ovulation approaching including minor cramping on my right side. This afternoon (I think) I received my first positive OPK. But there is one thing throwing me off- I've started bleeding? Could this be from the IUD removal? Or is it normal to bleed during ovulation?

I don't really have any answers for you, but I had the same thing happen to me when I got my implant removed. I had a flashing smiley face on a clear blue the day that I started my period. I have heard that some ladies get LH surges around the time of their period too.
