Ovulation confusion!

Hi ladies,

I'm a newbie to this forum. I had a question about ovulation.

I have been on clomid cycle2 and this time my bbt is quite low than cycle1. There was a spike in temp but I'm not sure if I ovulated. My first cycle was a textbook cycle with bbt spike to 98 from 97.5 and ovulation pains. Unfortunately, we didn't conceive.

Could someone look at my temps below and throw some light?
Temps from cycle2:
24-june-2013, last dose of clomid, cd9: 96.98
25-june-2013, cd10: 97.3
26-june, cd11: 96.98
27-june-2013, cd12: 96.8
28-june-2013, cd13: 97.2
29-june-2013, cd14: 97.52
30-june-2013, cd15: 97.16
02-jul-2013, cd16: 97.1
03-jul-2013, cd17: 96.8
04-jul-2013, cd18: 96.8
05-jul, cd19: 96.8
06-jul, cd20: 97.6 (1dpo??, opk only control line visible)
07-jul, cd21: 97.0 (opk not quite positive but faint test line)
08-jul, cd22: 97.2 (opk faint test line)
09-jul, cd23: 97.6 (opk same as above)
10-jul, cd24: 97.6
11-jul,cd25: 97.4
12-jul, cd26: 97.2
13-jul, cd27: 97.2

I keep getting a faint test line since 07-jul and in my first cycle too I never caught the surge 100% on my opk. I test around 7.30pm after work so maybe I miss the surge.

Looking at my temps, do you think I ovulated on the 05-jul? If so, does 06-jul become my 1dpo?

Am really confused why in second cycle I see low temps Appreciate any help.

Were you doing OPKs the whole cycle or only from jul 5 on?

It's hard to say because you don't have such a big shift but as of right now I would go with what you were thinking as well.

Sometimes my temps are really low and very close to the cover line I don't think it's a bad thing

Ya, i only started the opk from 6th July. I could see a faint test line till 13th and then i ran out of opks. We bd'd on 4th, 6th, 8th and couple of days later so keeping my fingers crossed if 6th was 1dpo. Have been seeing creamy yellow cm since last couple of days now too so not sure if AF is coming up.

Ok, this is interesting:
On 16-jul my bbt went up to 97.52 from 97.2 on 15th. Now on 17th, at 5.30am (usually take bbt) i got 96.8 which devastated me so i checked again and at 6.00 am it was 97.4! Did HPT but got BFN

Last month i had got period on 16th and so i thought if i ovulated on 6th, i should get af by 16th July but so far nothing. So i am confused if af is late or (hopefully) i will get a bfp in a few days?

*Has anyone else seen their temps fluctuating before getting a bfp?*
