Ovulation or Implantation

Hi

I have been having a few days of cramping. just mild cramping, not sore enough that i need to take pain killers. In currently on 5dpo.

Additionally, i am experiencing a shooting pain at the right hand side of my lower abdomen.. it only lasts seconds, but when it happend its sore enough to draw my hand to it and wince!

SOOO do you think this is Ovulation pain or Implantation pain??


Also, im sometimes feel like a muscle inside is twitching, like a spazm.

Hi Sylv... yeh doing good... apart from this feckin pain.. and i feel soo bloated.

So if its implantation pain, is that good news???

well it should be honey but dont take my word for it im not sure hoe many days after ovulation you get implantation. i will loo it up cause i want to know too and get back to you x sylv x

im back honey and i checked for you. it says it can take 7 to 10 days for implantation to occur as the egg takes all this time to get to uterus x sylv x

Damn, so that 7 days minimum AFTER OV??

aw well it must be late OV pains then eh?

well i had a look honey and i think there can be some pain when egg is travelling down the tube so that could be it honey sorry not been much help x sylv x

OOOH thats interesting...

I have NEVER had these pains before, so i guess im clinging onto the hope that it could be implantation.

When you testing Sylv?

nothing wrong with hope thats whats gets us through all this hard stuff!! officially testing on 20th but got loads oftests in bathroom so done a couple of sneaky ones!! lol

im due to test about 22nd, but i saw a thread where someone got her BFP on 12dpo... so i may test earlier...

Sylv - i put a thread on the 1st tri mester section, asking those ladies if they have experienced this pain..... so keep your eye on that one.

I'm currently 5DPO and have been having the same pains! It feels like ovulation pains but it's definitely NOT ovulation. FX'd that it's something related to implantation or a traveling fertilised eggie. to you all, ladies!

7-10 day is just the norm for implantation it can happen earlier or later. but not earlier then 5 dpo because it takes 5 days for the egg to turn into a blastocyte! so it very well could be implantation. or it could be the corpus lutem. because it is a type of cyst. this sometimes cause pain after ovulation as well! good luck!

hi ladies! good luck to you both! just a quick question ive had same cramping pains too never get them usually! if you're testing on 20th what day was you last af? im new to all this so am a little confuzzled! my last period started 19th may so when could i test? xxx

Hi Lucy - we my last AF was 25 May, and im usually a 28 cycle ( although it took 32 days to come after my miscarriage in April)

How long is your cycle? You may be able to test NOW

Same here ladies! I am having the same pains. They are kind of painful and mostly whenever I move!

I have really weird periods though so I have no idea when I ovulated but I am hopeful that this is our month!
