Ovulation pain?

I stopped the nuva ring at the end of July. Every month since then I have had a dull ache at the lower area of my belly. It's not to one side and is well below my belly button. The first two months it lasted about a week. The last two months it only lasts about half a day. I have been keeping track of it, the first two months it started exactly two weeks after my period started. This last month it was a day off, but then my period was a day early also.
I went to my doctor, think it was in Sep, and she ordered an ultrasound to rule out a cyst. It took forever to get in, was not in pain when I was seen, and there was no cyst.
So I'm wondering if its ovulation pain?

It certainly could be ovulation pain if the ultrasound has ruled out any problems, but it would not be possible to confirm this without tracking your cycle (ie temping/charting/opks), and your NTNP so I'm guessing not doing any of that stuff.

I get it on and off for about 24 hours or so before my temp rise, generally, so the timing you describe does sound possible.
