Ovulation pains 5 days after lu surge detected

I had my first peak day on cbfm on the 26 th so that's 5 days ago. This morning I am having ovulation type pains. Does it seem possible that I could ovulate so long after oh surge. I dtd twice day after peak reading....wonder if sperm would hold on for this long?

Your body may have been trying to ovulate but didn't initially. I would go with the ovulation pain's as time of ovulation.

Cheers danni for reply.....fingers crossed te sperm lived long enough as it was over 72 hours after oh peak observed.....
