Hey, I'm new here and have a question.

Can you use an ovulation test to see are you pregnant if you have no pregnancy test to hand? If so, what would it look like if you are pregnant.

I'm 38, 11 days late and no sign of my period and no physical signs I am pregnant and have had 2 negative pg test a few days ago.

You can use an ovulation test for pregnancy but since you are 11 days late you could also test positive for ovulation at this point. Therefore I doubt it will be reliable.

A positive ovulation test for pregnancy will look just like a positive ovulation test. If it's dye than the test line will be as dark or darker than the control line. If it's digital you will get a smiley face.

Good luck!

11 days late is pretty late to still not get a bfp; sometimes the hcg can be slow to rise, but this would be unheard of. Do you know if you ovulated? It could be that you are having a long cycle & maybe you haven't ovulated yet, or won't. This is esp common for those with pcos. It would be amazing if you did get a bfp! I wish you all the best! :dust:

I'm going through this right now and figure I just o'd late. This has happened to me once before as well, and I ended up with a 40 day cycle.... But stranger things have happened! If you've been bd'ing throughout your cycle you may have caught the egg and it will just show on a test later than you thought.
