ovulation testing

Hi im really confused. I have been testing with clearblue ovulation tests for the last 2 days (im 16 days since my last period) and ive been negative. I tested today at 7am and got a neg with first morning sample and no drink. I tested at 10.30 today and got a smiley face saying im ovulating. I have tested at 1pm and got a negative. Help x

It sounds like you had your surge today which means you may ovulate in the next 12-36 hours.

It could also be that your 10AM urine was concentrated giving a false positive.

CD 16 is kind of late to start testing unless you already know that you tend to ovulate later than day 14.
