Pain 12 days after lap and dye

Had a lap and dye 12 days go. My pubic incision is all of a sudden pain full to touch. Very tender!! Has anyone experienced this? My belly button isn't to bad but the pubic one is. Also feel like I've got a mild uti as it hurts sometimes when I pee and it's a little cloudy. Anyone experienced that? I'm not sure whether I should see the doctor?

Any info appreciated thanks

If your incision has got red, is swollen and feels hot, I´d say it could be infected. My suprapubic incision was always more tender than the other ones but if it´s worse that it was, there is no harm in seeing your GP for a check. Also, UTIs can make you feel grotty (not to mention getting worse if not treated!), so I´d have that checked as well. It´s better to be safe than sorry! Hope you´ll feel better soon!

it didn’t hurt me but it was very uncomfortable when i peed did you have any pain meds to take after?

Yeah. I had really bad gas pain for 6days so i was taking codeine. I started to notice that when I woke up in the monrning I was desperate for the loo. I'm not going loads but it is slightly cloudy and sometimes uncomfortable. I'm worried about having sex with my hubby in case it makes it worse!! Think I should see the doc tomorrow to be safe.

How did you test go? I was fine after about a week to have sex but it was my belly botton that was sore. I would def check with docs tho

Yeah. I had really bad gas pain for 6days so i was taking codeine. I started to notice that when I woke up in the monrning I was desperate for the loo. "cloudy" - might be a problem, definitely go to GP for urine test. I had the same but also was painful to pee for a week. I went to GP he could immediately tell it was infected because my urine was cloudy. Had to take antibiotics for a week. Am now very concerned whether this infection could have create any problems for me cos I had a super short cycle after lap&Dye and also neither CBFM nor OPK seem to spot my LH surge (before Lap&Dye CBFM worked really well for me)

It went well thank you. Tubes clear. They found fibroids on my overys which she said wouldn't hurt and I had OLD endo which was on my large bowl and had fused that to my back wall. But she said it wasn't active so again nothing to worry about. So we are being referred for iui.
