Pain a month after delivery

I had my baby boy on 16th April. He was natural birth but I was cut and suction was used as he was back to back and was stuck.

I bled a lot which subsided after about 2 weeks and the stitches have now fully dissolved. I had a lot of discomfort in the early days which has again improved but I still feel bruised.

Me and my partner haven't been intimate since the birth yet, I want to but I'm scared of it hurting and it's like I have a dull ache in my cl1toris. I can also feel it if I walk around too much.

Is this normal? Will it heal?

None of my pain now is due to pain relief I had etc as I only had gas and air

I had the same type of pain in my clitoris. It was an ache and it hurt more if I touched it or when I was washing below.
I had a consultant check up at 8 weeks pp and mentioned it then and she said it was completely normal. It went a few weeks after this and I've not had pain since.

I had my baby on the 5th April and had a second degree tear. When I was checked 2 weeks pp the midwife said some of my stitches had come out but the area would heal naturally without restitching. I have the same pain as you are describing. Not hugely uncomfortable but definitely noticeable if I walk to far or do too much.

I have my 8 week check in a few weeks so i will mention it if it hasn't passed. Pretty sure its normal healing though!

I had it too - sounds like exactly what I went through - your bits went through a lot pushing that baby out. If you are still feeling that way at your 6 weeks mark - may be worth asking your OB/midwife about but it sounds normal and should go away with some time

Well I've just asked and now it seems to have completely gone. I was probably a but premature posting!

Well we dtd last night. Ds will be 6 weeks Wednesday, no pain at all!
